Food

Many bugs are attracted to sugary and greasy foods. Do your best not to leave food sitting out and to rinse off plates instead of letting them sit in the sink for long periods of time.

Debris

Pests can find harborage just about anywhere, but they love to live in debris because it offers a dark, damp, and secluded space. Clear debris around the inside and outside of your home.

Water

Standing water will undoubtedly attract bugs, especially roaches. Bugs are always looking for an easy water source, so soak up any standing water under cabinets, in the kitchen, and outside.
